“Basant Panchami” marks the advent of the spring season and is also celebrated to worship Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. It is believed that the colour of Mother Earth turns yellow around the time of Saraswati Puja and hence, it is customary to wear bright yellow. Keeping this in mind, MRIS Charmwood, adorned in the colour yellow celebrated Basant Panchami with great fervour and enthusiasm. The whole school assembled together to pray and attain blessings from Goddess Saraswati to reach the epitome of knowledge. The celebrations commenced with the Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for seeking knowledge and prosperous life. It was followed by a beautiful bhajan. Prasad was distributed after the pooja ceremony.

The principal of the school, Dr Suchitra Bhattacharya motivated everyone to be progressive learners, setting big goals and putting dedicated efforts as a promising & flourishing human harvest.
