Eshaan Pandey becomes country winner of ‘Drums Off India’

Eshaan Pandey of Grade VII has brought laurels by being the country winner of ‘Drums Off India’, Junior Category. Drum Off Global is an annual international drum competition that gives drummers an opportunity to showcase their skills in a drum solo on an acoustic drum set without any backing tracks or use of electronics. Eshaan became the country winner in this category to represent India in the prestigious ‘Drum Off Global’ competition. He would now compete with thirteen other country winners in the junior category around the world. This event was organized in India by Nigel’s Academy. Mr. Tomas Haake, a Swedish drummer, Mr. Chris Colerman, a legend drummer, Ms. Anika Nilles, a Youtuber, Mr. Shawn Kok, a Singaporean drummer, Mr. Carter McLean, a composer and synth programmer were on the judging panel of this event. Eshaan is a consistent drum player who has been working hard on his drumming and has a keen eye to learn more to improve his skills. He is proficient in playing a drum solo including all the techniques. Stimulating the proposition that academics coupled with zeal to prove oneself holistically is the aim of education. Eshaan’s admonitory accomplishment adds yet another milestone to the achievements of talented enthusiasts budding at Manav Rachna.
