After the astounding success of GDPro Junior in its previous 4 editions, the 5th edition saw the same enthusiasm among the young participants. This one-of-its-kind revolution witnessed 300+ contestants from 15 + leading educational institutions. The saga began on Sep 01, 2019 with comprehensive workshops on Group Discussion spread over 150 days in all top of the line institutions, viz. Lotus Valley International School, Noida, Ryan International School, Faridabad, DLF Public School, Ghaziabad, Colonel’s Central Academy, Gurugram and many more.

With more than 50 GD’s spread across varied levels viz. Prelims, Semi Finals and the Grand Finale, the participants were encouraged and motivated to showcase their intellect and talent, bringing to light the fact that they are future ready.

Being able to contribute while in a group discussions is one of the most sought after skills in today’s era and the students took back lessons that would help them in the years to come.
The mega event was graced by the revered presence of Prof. Col. A.K. Rajpal, A war veteran and a renowned communication coach; Mr. Itish Arora, Vice President, NIIT Limited; Ms. Shubhra Chaturvedi, Assistant Vice President, Genpact, who also evaluated the grand finale.

During the little interaction, they emphasized on empathy, listening skills, structuring the thoughts, and the importance of participation. The enthusiastic day finally drew to a vibrant close with Shatika from Colonel’s Central Academy, Gurgaon bagging the First prize, Krishang from Manav Rachna International School (Sector 46), Gurgaon and Anusha Malhotra from Ryan International School, Faridabad winning the Second and Third positions respectively.

All the winners received certificates, medals, gift hampers and several goodies. The participants were elated and expressed their gratitude to Manav Rachna for providing a platform that gave them what they described as the experience of a lifetime.
