‘Spectrum’ for Grade II to VII Students

A fiesta marked by a series of events and jamboree display i.e. “Spectrum” was organized at MRIS, Mohali today. Grades 2nd to 7th students presented their talent and diligence showcasing the seven learning areas. The show commenced with an alluring Ganesh Vandana. The students from all grades exhibited an array of events like Welcome Song, Act of an Interview, Drama on Child Labour, One Minute Games (Numeracy), Soft Skills Presentations, Role Play showing difference between Paper book and an E-book etc.

The talent and learning outcomes of the little ones were highlighted most adorably. Right from sharing facts from their current theme, to merrily singing rhymes related to their learning, the children were a joy to watch. The amazing fruit show by the Toddlers, lively Jungle Dance by Nursery and enchanting Yoga presentation by the KG students won everyone’s heart.

One of the other highlights of the show was the presentation given by one of the parents and a faculty member of the Manav Rachna Sports Centre, Faridabad, on the importance of Sports for the well-being of a child.

The exhibits of seven areas of learning made by the students were displayed in the corridor showcasing their understanding and implementation of the same. The special day was addressed by the Principal, Ms. Taruna Vashisht, who heartedly thanked everyone for all the efforts put in. The function was also attended by Ms. Dhriti Malhotra, Principal, MRIS Gurugram, who appreciated the stunning performances of all the students and highlighted the importance of these experiences in the formative years of a child.

All in all the students rocked the stage and earned accolades and loud cheers from the spectators.
