Students of grade 4 made parachutes in skill lab session through which they were taught about air resistance and gravity. The concept was clarified by focusing on the mechanism of a parachute. They were given the example of how installing parachutes in four-wheelers, planes etc helps in slowing down the speed. They also made a catapult parachute launcher and experimented how changing canopy size effects the speed of a parachute.
