Principal’s Message – MRIS Gurugram Sector 46


Mrs.  Dhriti Malhotra, Principal |  MA (English), B.Ed. Experience: 30 Years

With almost 3 decades of rich experience behind her, she has earlier held the reigns of Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj New Delhi and Scottish High International School, Gurugram as the Principal. She believes that every child is unique and born with inherent talent which needs to be groomed and polished. She envisions that every child excels in a sport and art (performing as well as fine) activity along with academic excellence.

Mrs. Malhotra has initiated the Special Education Needs (SEN) Department in the schools that she has led. The Inclusive Education Programme aims to integrate students with learning disabilities in mainstream education and addressing their needs so as to bring out the best in them.

Her passion for education and innovative teaching, meritorious work in the field of Social Welfare, Indian Culture, Music, Dance and Art has been rightly recognized and she has been felicitated with the ‘Progressive Principal of India for the year 2017’, ‘Vidyashree Award’, ‘Avantika Dr. Radhakrishna Samman’, ‘Best Educationist Award’, ‘The Best State Principal –Haryana Zone’, ‘Best Mentor’ award by Global SOTY Foundation and many more. Under her leadership, MRIS-46 has been awarded  accreditation by the US based AdvancEd Commission  for five years based on the   S chool’s  exemplary performance in all areas.

She joined the Manav Rachna Group in June 2009 at MRIS-46 where she began her journey of turning the MRIS vision and mission into a reality. School has grown from a strength of 125 children to almost 2800 children in a span of just 9 years.


  1. Arya Pandit won gold medal and the best boxer award in Khel Maha Kumb.
  2. Gyatri Choudhary won a bronze medal and Himani Yadav bagged silver medal in Khel Maha Kumb.


  1. MRIS-46 was overall champion in Pathways Bailawas Swimming Championship and has bagged 23 Gold, 22 Silver and 19 Bronze medals.
  2. MRIS-46 bagged 22 Gold and 26 Silver medals in Inter Manav Rachna Swimming Championship


  1. U-12 team of the school bagged second position in 1st Invitational Tournament in Gurgaon Football Academy.
  2. Aditya Sekhari and Krrish Raijade represented District Gurgaon in Khel Mahakumb State Lavel Football Tournament held at Karnal.


  1. Kanak secured fourth position in S.G.F.I National Roll Ball held at Chennai.
  2. Radhika Singhal bagged first position in Inter School Championship held at Amity International School, Gurugram.
  3. Elina Barak got 2ndposition in Inter-School Championshop held t Penguin School.
  4. Gauri Rai, a student of Grade-IV bagged two medals in Haryana 2nd State level Ice Skating Championship.


  1. U-12 Girls Team of the school secured first position in Inter-School Gymnastics Championship held t Pathways Aravali.
  2. U-14 Girls Team won second position at C.B.S.E National Gymnastics Championship held at Yamuna Nagar in Nov 2017.
  3. Girls Team of the school comprising of Ritika Jain, Aahena Sharma, Delisha Chaudhary, Anandita Deshwal and Aashia Passi won the First Position in District Gymnastics Tournament 2016.


  1.  Dakshita Dhiman of MRIS-46, Gurugram won 3 gold and received ‘Best Player of the Year’ award at 31st national ITF taekwondo championship 2016.
  2.  Dakshita, Gurmehar and Vipasha of MRIS-46, Gurugram bagged gold medals in 28th North and East Zone Taekwondo Championship 2017.
  3. Dakshita Dhiman secured 3rd place in S.G.F.I State Tournament.


  • Damyenti Saxenaa, a Kindergarten student has ranked First in the 23rd Haryana State Chess Championship (U-7 Girls) held in Panchkula.
  • MRIS-46 won overall athletic championship held at Khel Gram stadium. The students won 15 Gold medals,12 Silver and 8 Bronze medals.
  • Arya Pandit, a student of Grade-VII won Gold medal in Sub Junior Boxing Championship at District Level held in Gurugram.
  • MRIS-46 won the overall District Level Swimming Championship held in GD Goenka World School, Sonipat. The students bagged 22 gold, 28 silver and 16 bronze medals.
  • MRIS-46 bagged silver & bronze medals at 8th Manav Rachna Badminton & Table Tennis Tournament.
  • Arush, Anshuman, Varun, Varsha, Nishant & Kanishka qualified for the North Zone Shooting Air Pistol/Riffle Competition.
  • Kabir Pandit, Ashish Kumar & Parth Solanki secured 3rd position at GMDA District Boxing Championship held from 26 to 28th July 2018.
  • School team bagged 18 gold, 22 silver and 28 bronze medals in the NCR Swimming Competition held from 25th to 27th July 2018 held at MRIS-46,Gurugram.
  • MRIS-46, Gurugram students won 1 Gold, 1 Bronze and 2 Silver medals in U-8, U-12, U-12, and U-14 categories respectively in Inter Manav Rachna Championship.
