As we exercise to make our body healthy and fit so we can also follow some simple exercises to make our brains work faster and improve the general working of our brains. A simple series of exercises could help your brain function better, making you sharper, smarter – and far more confident. This is termed as BRAIN GYM.
The SEN Department of Manav Rachna International School, Sec-46, Gurugram organized a workshop for parents to create awareness about the effectiveness of BRAIN GYM towards making the brain more receptive towards learning.
The objectives of the workshop on BRAIN GYM were to introduce the concept of Brain Gym, to practice Brain Gym exercises, and to make parents understand the physical skills of learning developed through activities. Along with this, it was organized to aware them about the perceptual and cognitive benefits in academic areas assessed through these activities.
It was a highly interactive session wherein the parents took part very enthusiastically and found it highly effective and useful to use in their day – to –day interaction with their children.
