Inculcating Scientific Temperament In Young Minds
Science is a perpetual search for an intelligent and integrated comprehension of the world we live in. It is the systematic classification of experience. Keeping this in mind, the learning of science was made more realistic and interesting by conducting different science activities for Grade III-VI.
Children learnt as to how tissue in a glass stays dry when plunged into water, through disappearing Colour Wheel. They learnt that White Light is made of seven colours and also learnt the balloon trick. The practical demonstration made them study that Oil and Water are immiscible liquids.
The children enjoyed doing these activities and were able to grasp the related concepts in a better and interesting way.
