Celebrating the exhilaration of 10 glorious years of augmenting talents, nurturing hopes and fulfilling aspirations, Manav Rachna International School (MRIS-14), Faridabad has organized atwo-day (December 14 & 15) ‘Exuberance 2017’ in the school. The celebrations on the first day were graced by Ms. Belina, City Magistrate and Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice-President, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI). The event commenced with a poignant tribute to the eminent educationist, philanthropist and visionary founder, Dr. O. P. Bhalla. Ms. Mamta Wadhwa, Principal, MRIS-14 extended her gratitude to the entire parents, faculty and stakeholders whose unwavering support culminated in the monumental growth of the institution. Also present on the occasion were Dr. M. M. Kathuria, Trustee, MREI; Ms. Deepika Bhalla, Executive Director, MRIS 14; Ms. Nisha Bhalla, Executive Director, MRIS CW; Principals and Heads of all Manav Rachna Institutions.
The ‘Chronicle’, a coffee table book capturing the 10-year journey of the school was released on this occasion by the dignitaries.
Ms. Belina motivated the young learners to tread the path of righteousness in recognizing their collective responsibility towards the upliftment of all sections of society. Embracing the futuristic worldview of education, Dr. Amit Bhalla enthused the crowd to unfetter their spirit of innovation by increasing participation in myriad avenues of project-based practical modes of learning- ‘Life Skills Program’.
‘Dot Com returns’, a spirited theatrical presentation on the disillusionment faced by a child in the modern era, to promote women empowerment, the heart-rending musical depicting the hopes, longing and aspirations was appreciated widely.
Offering homage to the principles of universal peace, harmony and brotherhood in the grand finale, the dance troupe of MRIS-14 dazzled the onlookers in a power-packed performance, embodying the message: ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakum’, meaning the world is one family.
While the first day was a grand success and concluded with the promise to bring in more honour and glory in the years to come; the second day promises to be grander.
