MRIS-14, Faridabad celebrated the colourful festival- Holi
The celebration of festivals in the school allows the children to appreciate the richness and diversity of the country they live in. Holi, the festival of colours, which commemorates the victory of good over evil, one of the most boisterous festivals of India, was celebrated at Manav Rachna International School, Sec-14, Faridabad in an eco friendly way with flower petals by the children of Early Years.
The Toddlers and Bloomz were dressed up in their lovely white attires ready to add colours of love and togetherness on them. To add onto the essence of the springtime festival, the assembly area was adorned with colourful flowers and beautiful backdrop. Children enjoyed dancing, relished their favourite food and festival sweet, Gujiya, and celebrated the festival with a lot of joy and fervor.
The Grade I and II students also celebrated the festival with their friends and teachers through a class party followed by dance and fun activities. Children enjoyed coming together by forgetting personal differences and celebrated the spirit of universal brotherhood. Children were encouraged to play safe Holi with dry herbal powdered colours or with flower petals and not by throwing water filled balloons on others. It was indeed a wonderful experience for the little ones.
