In order to rekindle the love for India’s official language, Hindi teachers of Grade IV-VIII of MRIS-Sector14, Faridabad presented a self- composed and self-directed Hindi street play emphasising the correct usage of Hindi Grammar. They also highlighted that in a thirst for exploring new horizons of knowledge and learning new languages, one should not forget their mother tongue.
As the teachers performed, clad in white suits with red dupattas, children sat spell bound with beautiful smiles on their faces. They listened to each and every word as the play was not only informative but interactive and full of humour. The teachers also read out poems of different genres’ with the appropriate expressions. The motive was to make students understand the importance of voice modulation.
Through the medium of play, they motivated the students to strengthen their Hindi language and feel proud of it as it kindles a national spirit amongst us.
