“The environment is where we all meet; where all have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share. Hence we must all preserve it.” – Lady Bird Johnson

Since its inception, purposeful and engaging learning has augmented Manav Rachna along its path to this sojourn of academic and cultural excellence. With a view to encourage the young minds to ‘Go Green’, Grade VIII-B of MRIS-14, Faridabad presented an assembly on ‘Earth Day’ which depicted the profound anguish of Mother Earth and touched the spectators’ heart. A beautiful mélange of an Indian and a western song ‘I am the Earth’ enthralled the audience. A short skit was also enacted in a bid to sensitize all present, on the legacy of unsatisfied needs and wants that we would be leaving behind for our future generations. Emblazoned with an amplified vision, Ms. Mamta Wadhwa, the Principal exalted the efforts of the class and empowered the students by speaking about how our little bit can bring about a big change. Dr. Shalini Bindra, Vice Principal, appreciated and gave away the prizes to the winners of various competitions. The efficacious assembly proved to be an eye opener for the receptive minds.
