Every child is a different kind of flower and all together makes this world a beautiful garden!
Children’s Day — a day dedicated to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru ( November 14, 1889 – May 27, 1964), first Prime Minister of India after Independence, and so is observed as an event across the world to celebrate childhood and promote awareness about children’s welfare.
Fun and enjoyment marked the ‘Children’s Day Celebration’ in MRIS-14, when the teachers of Nursery and Kindergarten took over the stage to entertain the children. The proramme began with a wonderful skit focusing on the movement started by our Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, spreading the message of “SWACHCH BHARAT SWASTH BHARAT ”. Children were amazed to see their teachers behaving like them on stage. Their eyes flashed with joy when their teachers sang a medley for them. It was not only the teachers but also the Headmistress, Ms. Monika Kathuria, who could not stop herself from joining the choir to sing and sway with the music.
It was indeed a day full of surprises for the children. The students also started dancing with the foot tapping beats of the dance number presented by the teachers. Suddenly the stage was taken over by our own beloved Chacha Nehru ji. Ms. Meena Khanna dressed up Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru captivated the students and talked about his love for children.
The occasion was graced by the Principal, Ms. Mamta Wadhwa. She thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and appreciated the teachers. She also initiated the students to keep the surroundings clean.
It was a role reversal for teachers, which was indeed real fun for the children to watch. The day invites all of us to give children their due-love, affection and opportunities for development
