There was joy and cheer all around as the students and staff of MRIS Charmwood got together to celebrate the festival of sharing, caring and giving – Christmas – with a colourful carnival. The vibrant event was graced by Ms Nisha Bhalla (Executive Director MRIS CW & 21C), Dr M.M. Kathuria (Trustee, MREI), Ms Goldy Malhotra (Director,  Administration, MRIS), Ms Sanyogita Sharma (Director, MRIS), Dr Babita Parashar (MRIU), Ms Mamta Wadhwa (Principal, MRIS 14) and Ms Seema Malhotra (Principal, MRIS 21C).

Students sang carols and danced. They enjoyed numerous activities like Make a resolution, Decorate your tree, tattoo and hair braiding & beading and games like Feed the monkey, Break the pyramid, Ring the gift, Hook the fish, Tail the elephant, Glow the reindeer, Passing the key, Guess & win, Light & blow the candles, Spin the wheel, Formula One race, Get the words right, Ring Santa’s cap, Khelo aur jeeto and Bucket the coin.

There was scrumptious food that catered to different palates: American sweet corn,  Sanjha chulha (makke ki roti, sarson ka saag, bajre ji roti), Bhel puri, Maggi, cakes,  chocolates, Domino’s pizza, pasta, pav bhaaji, chaat, kaathi rolls, sandwiches, juices, mocktails and much more.

In the classrooms, students of Early Years enjoyed making beautiful Christmas craft.

The carnival was a truly memorable experience for one and all.
