THE ANNUAL APPRECIATION DAY (SCHOLAR BADGE) CEREMONY

Envisioning possibilities, being committed, and establishing an unwavering focus and nurturing belief in one’s potential has been a forte for the students of Manav Rachna International School.

MRIS Charmwood organized the Scholar Badge Ceremony recently to honour and felicitate the exemplary scholastic achievements of the students. This day being an extremely significant and momentous day, marked the recognition of students who have showcased their academic prowess. This ceremony is indeed one of the most anticipated and time tested traditions of MRIS Charmwood, when gleaming enthusiasm and the triumphant spirit of the young scholars can be seen and felt.

The ceremony began with the welcome speech by Ms Geeta Sharma, co-ordinator Middle Wing. It was followed by a melodious redention where the school choir presented a welcome song. The Executive Director, Ms Nisha Bhalla addressed the august gathering and motivated the students by her words of wisdom. She encouraged the students to have a vision that decides whether one sinks or soars in the flight of life. She stressed on the point that superb winners are the ones who display a mastery of their vision before their competence. This was followed by the guiding light of Ms Sanyogita Sharma, Director MRIS. She encouraged and inspired the students to be go-getters and carry forward the progressive values, keeping the banner of MRIS fly high. Coming up next was the moment that all the proud parents and guests were waiting for- the Scholar Badge ceremony. Students were handed over their hard-earned awards by their proud parents. It was indeed a sight to behold. This was followed by the words of wisdom of The Principal Dr. Suchitra Bhattacharya, who exhorted the students with her stirring speech and real-life anecdotes. She stressed upon the fact that with recognition comes responsibility and that each individual should be prepared to shoulder the mantle of excellence that he/she has chosen.

The ceremony also was a witness to the energetic and mesmeric impressions by the young speakers of the school. The students shared their experiences and even shared valuable tips with the fellow scholars which would help them soar higher and higher in life. The ceremony culminated with the vote of thanks by Ms. Maya Vijayan, Headmistress Senior Wing followed by the National Anthem and the Shanti Path.
