Librarian honoured with ‘Global Teacher Award’
Ms. Monika Mukh, Librarian of Manav Rachna International School, Mohali was awarded with ‘Global Teacher Award’, organized by Alert Knowledge Services. The event was held at ‘The Leela Ambience Hotel & Residences’, Gurugram. Around six hundred teachers across seventy countries had participated in this programme.
AKS EDUCATION AWARDS initiated this most prestigious award and the first-of-its-kind to recognize the teachers (with excellence in their field) from all regions and communities of the world. It highlighted their contribution in community building and helping in making a better society through inspirational teaching. There were speeches & cultural performances in between slots of awards.
There was also a panel discussion on the topic: ‘Issues and Trends in Global Education in context to Education Generation Z’, wherein eleven panellists from different countries including Serbia, Russia, Egypt, South America, and Croatia shared their innovative ideas towards building a better education system.
Principal MRIS Mohali, Ms. Taruna Vashisht encouraged the efforts and applauded this great achievement. She motivated and encouraged other faculty members to walk an extra mile, and keep adding value in ‘Education’
