Professionally qualified and having a rich experience of 19 years in the field of education, Ms Achint follows her passion for Computer Science even today. A Master in Computer Applications, blending ICT into everyday teaching-learning pedagogy is her passion and forte. After completing a Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management, she is currently pursuing PhD in Computer Applications.

Having worked in the best schools of the Tricity such as Bhavan Vidyalaya and Delhi Public School, she is currently holding the coveted position of Headmistress at Manav Rachna International School, Mohali. Throughout her journey, she has given 100% results with many students scoring over 90% in Computer Science in CBSE AISSCE. Currently, she is a Master Trainer with CBSE.

She is a member of the Curriculum Development Team responsible for creating the CBSE Digital Citizenship Curriculum and Student Handbook for Grade VI in association with Meta and CBSE in 2021-22. She also received a special invite from 1M1B for a special ‘Educators Collaboratory’ at the Meta office in Gurgaon on July 13, 2022 and participated in a Poster Presentation and a Roundtable with Ms. Antigone Davis, Vice President, Head of Global Safety, Meta. She was elected in the first cohort of 200 teachers from across CBSE affiliated schools to be part of “The Global Teachers Academy for Digital Technologies”, an initiative by CBSE in collaboration with IBM. She completed the course as a master trainer and AI teacher educator on May 30, 2021.

She has made various pedagogy related contributions to the draft on ‘National Education Policy’, Educational Audit’ , Annual Curriculum Plan’, CBSE ‘Proposed Students’ Handbook’, ‘Learning Outcomes for Classes 9 and 10’ draft for CBSE, Reading Literacy for PISA 2021.

She has been bestowed with various awards throughout her career such as ‘Outstanding Teacher Award’ by Global Education Summit and Awards, ‘Education Icon – Leadership in Education Award’, ’Leadership in Education’ award by Symposium for Promoting Academic Research & Collaboration, among others.

She is a Google Certified Teacher, Innovator and Web Ranger and has been selected by CBSE for various prestigious programmes such as Global Teachers Academy for Digital Technologies, AR by School of Innovation from Facebook, etc. Keeping up with the latest in her field, she believes in regular self-development and has been certified by IBM as a Design Thinking Practitioner along with AI Foundations and Data Science.

She aims to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. She believes that she owes it to her students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to her job in the hope that she can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well. She hopes to help students not only learn what is required but to make them want to discover more on their own. She believes in establishing a safe, learner-centered environment where students exchange ideas through exploration and discovery and achieve their full potential. Her classrooms are fun learning spaces where each child is nurtured to blossom and grow!
