SPORTEK 2024: Unite! Compete! Celebrate! Manav Rachna International School (MRIS), Charmwood, hosted SPORTEK 2024 at Manav Rachna University, celebrating the spirit of “Unite! Compete! Celebrate!” Students from Grades VI to VIII displayed athleticism, teamwork, and community spirit in a day filled with excitement and energy. The event began with an inspiring Orchestra & Welcome Cheer, followed by the Lamp Lighting Ceremony. Ms. Nisha Bhalla, Executive Director, lit the torch, symbolizing resilience, while the March Past and Bagpiper Band – Rhythm of the Glen captivated all. Event Highlights: Power of Resilience – A dance performance showcasing determination. Balance and Brilliance – Jaw-dropping gymnastics moves. Flat Race, Obstacle Race & Team Sprint Relay – High-energy competitions filled with spirit. Family Footprints – Parents and students united for fun and games. Chief Guest Shri Samaresh Jung (Arjuna Awardee) inspired the audience with his words on character and teamwork. The event concluded with a Prize Distribution Ceremony and a Vote of Thanks by Head Girl Nethra Ramakrishnan.
