Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy helps children in improving their motor skills, attention-concentration, eye-hand coordination, cognition, perception, memory and many more areas which enables them to participate in activities of daily living. Occupational therapy practitioners have a holistic perspective, in which the focus is on adapting the environment and/or task to fit the person.
Speech and Language Therapy
Our dedicated speech and language program focuses on empowering students to express themselves effectively and confidently.
Through personalized interventions and supportive therapies, we address a wide range of speech and language challenges, ensuring every student receives tailored support.

Student Counselling
At MRIS-51, the motto “What you say in here, stays in here” fosters an environment where students feel comfortable shedding their apprehensions and sharing their feelings with counselors. The counseling section at MRIS-51 is dedicated to several objectives. Firstly, it aims to cultivate effective study skills through regular career counseling sessions.
Additionally, it seeks to nurture positive self-esteem and relationships, enhance communication abilities, and help students navigate physical changes and their environment through workshops and talks led by mental health professionals.
The program also emphasizes self-awareness by encouraging students to recognize their strengths, weaknesses, and the consequences of their actions. Crucially, it provides crisis intervention when needed, ensuring a supportive environment conducive to the mental well-being of all students. MRIS-51 embraces the philosophy that the pace of learning should not define a child’s potential, believing that every child can thrive given the right support.
Special education, in their view, involves providing continuous, specially tailored assistance rather than indicating incapability. The school upholds inclusive education as fundamental, seamlessly integrating students with special needs into mainstream classrooms.
