Key Learning Areas at MRIS

The Manav Rachna Curriculum fosters holistic development across Seven Learning Areas:

Languages and literacy

Building communication and cultural understanding through a multi-language approach. English is the 1st language, with Hindi/Punjabi as the 2nd language. Sanskrit, French, Spanish, and German are introduced from Grade V onwards.

Numeracy

Strengthening mathematical skills for real-life problem-solving. Students choose between Standard or Basic Math in Grade X and can opt for Applied Math from Grade XI.

CREST

An interdisciplinary curriculum focused on reasoning, exploration, and 21st-century skills through hands-on learning.

Sports and well-being

A broad range of sports cultivates physical and mental health, encouraging students to excel within and beyond school events.

Performing Arts

Encompassing dance, music, and theatre to nurture creativity, imagination, and emotional expression.

Visual Arts

Activities like drawing, painting, and crafting enhance creativity, fine motor skills, and conceptual understanding.

FS&S & Life skills

Divided into Tinker/Maker Shala, Media Shala, and Fashion Shala, promoting hands-on learning, sustainability, and essential life skills.
