Labs

also liberate the young minds from the monotony of textbook learning.
With this philosophy in mind, MRIS-46 campus is equipped with highly advanced and state
of the
art lab facilities. The institution boasts of futuristic Core Physics, Chemistry and
Biology
labs which provide a sound scaffolding to promote scientific temper and attitude. Math
Lab
facilitates a multi-sensory approach to learning enabling a better understanding of

abstract concepts.
ICT labs across grades impart indispensable coding skills that enable students to grasp

has a well-equipped and well stocked library where students can find books from all
genres. The
students from toddlers to grade XII can access the library which has age-appropriate
books for
everyone. The “knowledge bank ” as we call it, has evolved incessantly over the years
and
incorporates the latest technology to make it user-friendly and perennially accessible
to all
stakeholders.

The MRIS
library portal has also been developed to connect students directly with the
library 24X7,
it includes eBooks, previous year question papers, podcasts, storytelling
videos,
assignments etc.

region and

Media Shala
In today’s rapidly evolving world, the professional landscape is continually

societal needs.
This forward-thinking approach involves not only identifying emerging fields
and
skills but also committing to continuous learning and adaptation. In the
endeavor to achieve this, Future Skills and Sustainability (FS&S) vertical
under
Manav Rachna has introduced Media Shala to its students.
Led by a team of industry experts, students are trained in communication and
production activities to be future journalists and media professionals. From
anchoring to podcast production, to learning branding and marketing –
students
at Media Shala gain confidence for facing the audience from a young age.
Media Shala members have produced and edited short films, covered events and
clicked breathtaking photos. Many students have found love for writing
blogs,
professional vlogging or comic-making and social media management while
being
part of the course.
The curriculum is delivered by industry experts from the field of media and
communications.
Maker Shala
Taking the love for science and robotics to the next level, the Tinker
Shala (for
classes 1 to 5) and Maker Shala (for classes 6 to 12) fosters
next-generation
skills in future coders and programmers of tomorrow. The scope of Tinker
Shala
and Maker Shala expands to solving industry problems of today and
tomorrow, like
agri-tech, sustainability and design thinking.
In Tinker Shala for grades 1 to 5, foundations for scientific approach to
problem
solving, 21st century skills, life skills, self-awareness and values,
scientific
temper, and thinking skills are nurtured and built.
The Maker Shala project threads are AgriTech, Health Tech and Food,
Product
Design
(Infra tech) and Robotics and AI. The course is led by STEM educators
and
experts
with qualifications in B.Tech Engineering in electronics, civil
engineering and
the
likes.

What is a school without a playground?
At MRIS-46, we have a dedicated play zone that is always buzzing with excitement, cheer

bars, duck spring riders, and dinosaur spring riders, it transports children to their

Performing Arts

Aimed at providing a platform to our young performers, our performing arts department brings joy and creativity to education. When Rabindranath Tagore said that the ultimate aim of education should be the all-round development of the individual for a harmonious adjustment to reality, little did we know that the concept will be the guiding principle of new age education systems.
The synthesis of dance, music and theatre with education provides an enriching experience and gives a vent to students’ emotions. Performing arts bring harmony and collaboration in school and make it a happy place.
At MRIS, we believe that aesthetic and inclusive development is as important as intellectual development and what better way to achieve it than a plethora of activities where the students get to express their joys and fears through the medium of dance and music, both Indian and Western. The Visual Arts curriculum at MRIS Sector 46 has been nurturing artistic expressions in our 21st century learners through their global curriculum. Students get an opportunity to unleash their creativity through different forms and mediums of paintings. The uniqueness of each medium, be it sculpture, clay work, textiles, instills in them a sense of fulfillment and emotional intelligence.
The art integration curriculum familiarizes them with an array of art forms worldwide and encourages cultural preservation. Our young learners practice sustainability while up scaling used articles into pieces of art.
Our highly skilled team of facilitators teach them cartooning, book illustration, commercial art, textile prints and impressions, giving them a peek into the professional world.
