Middle Years
The transition from Primary to Middle School at Manav Rachna International School cultivates an advanced academic environment, promoting self-learning and innovative teaching methods.
The Middle School curriculum integrates previous knowledge with sophisticated subject paradigms, encourages skill development through various platforms, and introduces Grade 8 students to career counseling via workshops and expert interactions.

The curriculum encompasses seven fundamental learning areas: Languages & Literacy, Numeracy, CREST, Sports & Well-being, Performing Arts, and Visual Arts. ICT proficiency, including coding, is emphasized, with a focus on sequencing, problem-solving, logical thinking, critical thinking, and algorithmic skills using AI tools.
Life skills are a priority, with an emphasis on self-awareness, problem-solving, and effective communication. Future skills and sustainability are integrated into the Makershala curriculum, which offers project-based learning in areas such as Agri Tech, Health Tech, Infra Tech, and Robotics, Coding & AI, incorporating skills in economics, communication, presentation, and internships. Mediashala utilizes media to educate and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), producing various media to promote sustainable living.

Academic rigour is maintained through comprehensive assessments to ensure holistic student development. The development of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication is prioritized.
Holistic development is fostered through diverse clubs, clans, the Model United Nations (MUN) program, global summer programs, and library initiatives, promoting exploration, leadership, global citizenship, and cultural exchange.
Sustainability Crusaders projects instill environmental stewardship, while digital citizenship and technological literacy programs teach responsible technology use and information evaluation. Socio-emotional learning is also emphasized to foster resilience, empathy, and self-awareness. Overall, the aim is to develop globally-minded youth rooted in Indian culture with a broad global perspective.
