Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists at MRIS-14 provide a fun learning environment to help children achieve the skills needed to participate and become independent in everyday activities through holistically designed therapy plans.

All the therapy sessions are individually tailored to meet the unique needs of children. Our team of skilled professionals make sure that children are comfortable and provide them suitable interventions to work upon a wide range of physical, cognitive and sensory challenges.

We firmly believe in the power of engaging CWSN in constructive activities to strengthen their motor skills, increase their attention-concentration, improve eye-hand coordination skills and develop many new skills which help them navigate better in a mainstream set-up.

Special Education
At MRIS-14, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing and supportive learning environment, regardless of their unique challenges. Our special needs program is designed to offer personalized educational experiences, ensuring that each student can thrive both academically and socially.

Each student in our special needs program receives an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), tailored to their specific needs. Along with IEP, ABA, that is Applied Behavior Analysis is a therapeutic method that analyses the current restrictive behavioral structure of individuals with special needs and structurally works towards the attainment of better psychological structure through various strategies such as positive reinforcement, generalization, task analysis, choices, redirection and timely interventions.

These plans are developed in collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure that every aspect of the child’s development is addressed. Inclusion is at the heart of our educational philosophy. We strive to integrate special needs students into mainstream classrooms whenever possible, promoting a culture of acceptance and understanding.
Our teachers use differentiated instruction techniques to meet the diverse needs of all learners, ensuring that every student can participate and succeed. Our special needs program has transformed the lives of many students, helping them achieve milestones they once thought were out of reach.

Student Counselling
At MRIS-14, we have a very comprehensive program that aims to create a holistic and inclusive set-up for children with special needs including their educational, socio-emotional and psychological needs.

The program includes counsellors, special educators, ABA therapist and occupational therapist. The students are provided with all the exemptions and provisions as given by CBSE. The student counselling includes one on one sessions with students; workshops and group sessions with students and teachers to create awareness and sensitizing them.
We also do sessions with parents on parenting, career guidance and dealing with teenage issues. Counseling is designed to remove the emotional, psychological and personal social roadblocks placed in the way of an individual by the multidimensional problems of the day to day life.
