Principal’s Message

Just a decade of existence and a list of endless feats to our credit already! MRIS Ludhiana has successfully accomplished its goal of becoming the most progressive school in the city and that too, in just ten years since its inception. Effective teaching-learning practices coupled with the priority for teacher- student connect and activities thoroughly fused with academics have borne fruit for us. The catalyst in the process has been the state-of-the art matchless infrastructure.

Holistic is not a buzz word for us. It’s tangibly visible in our practices. Our students start their day with learning life skills that ensure success in both personal and professional life. They sweat it out in the field regularly as there’s a sports period for every class every day. Our adept faculty engages our learners constructively in the classroom making learning authentic for each one of them. We focus not only on the academic capital but also on the social capital in our campus. PISA 2022 report prescribes that schools should prioritize well-being of the students. MRIS Ludhiana has been doing so for the last decade.

While we work earnestly to help our students master literacy and numeracy skills, we are cognizant that these will not suffice in the times to follow. We are aware that media literacy skills would give our students the edge to excel. Our Mediashala equips them with the visual literacy skills and an opportunity to develop communication skills much needed for the future. Our students acquire critical thinking skills, they foresee problems and solutions alike in our Makershala. We go beyond activity-based learning and work towards making learning experiences joyful for our learners. We value Visual and Performing Arts and understand how these can empower a learner to improve the academic performance and overall well-being too.

As we gear up for our decennary celebrations this year, we surge ahead with confidence to nurture learners who will bloom into human beings capable of making this world a better place.
