Scholarship Policy at Manav Rachna International School, Mohali

Our scholarship policy is designed to recognize the dedication and hard work of students who score 95% or above in an academic year.
These students are eligible for a scholarship that provides financial assistance, making their educational journey a little easier. This initiative is our way of encouraging students to continue striving for excellence and showcasing our commitment to nurturing academic talent and ambition.
Manav Rachna Scholarship Test (MRST)
The Manav Rachna Scholarship Test (MRST) is a prestigious examination designed for students in Grades 5 to 10 during the 2023-24 academic session. This scholarship test is open to both students from Manav Rachna Schools and other institutions. The test is conducted across various Manav Rachna International Schools located in five cities.
Manav Rachna International Schools (MRIS) introduced the MRST to recognize and support academically outstanding students, offering up to 100% scholarships on tuition fees. This initiative aims to foster academic excellence in a healthy, competitive environment.
- Eligibility: Open to students from MRIS and other schools in the same grades.
- Applicable Grades: Students in Grades 5 to 10.
- Special Note: For Grade 9 students moving to Grade 10, the test is available only for MRIS students and outstation students planning to relocate.
The MRST will assess:
- Conceptual Clarity
- Higher Order Thinking Skills in Logic and Reasoning
- Mathematics, English, and Science
- The test covers the entire syllabus of the current class, focusing on concept and competency-based questions rather than specific textbooks.
- Test Date: November 20, 2024
- Result Declaration: November 29, 2024
- Online Application: Visit the school website at www.mris.edu.in. to fill out the application form.
- In-Person Assistance: You can also visit any school branch for help with the application process.
Examination Centers
- Physical Mode: The test will be conducted at various Manav Rachna School centers.
- Choice of Center: Participants can choose the nearest MRIS branch when filling out the application form.
- Registration Fee
- Fee: INR 100 + taxes, payable online or offline at the school.
Test Format
- Question Types: Both objective and subjective questions.
- Duration: 2 hours
- Maximum Marks: 100
Schedule
- Reporting Time: 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM
- Reading Time: 9:45 AM – 10:00 AM
- Exam Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
For Non-MRIS Students
Scholarships are available for students admitted to Grades VI to XI for the 2025-26 session.
Benefits include a 100% waiver on Admission and Tuition Fees.
Additional charges for transportation, security, academic resources, and annual fees apply.
Top achievers will be decided based on a percentile basis with a minimum of 70% marks.
For MRIS Students
Scholarships will be in the form of a 100% waiver on tuition fees, covering up to 75% of the composite fee depending on the grade.
Additional charges for transportation, academic resources, and annual fees apply.
- Required Items: School ID card, admit card/communication letter from MRIS, necessary stationery, water bottle, hand sanitizer, and a mask (optional).
- Arrival Time: Arrive on time to avoid any inconvenience.
- Health Precautions: Do not attend if suffering from any infectious disease.
