When we speak of or envision a global citizen, sustainability and future skills take the front row.
Good education can not be complete without inculcating an awareness and skills of both amongst the students. In this regard, Manav Rachna International School, Mohali has been working diligently to foster the importance of adapting to a sustainable way of life and teaching future skills to its students. The school has been working in a persistent way in this direction through the following.

In order to take the learning approach a few levels higher, MRIS, Mohali has coalesced the above into a comprehensive programme, Future Skills and Sustainability (FS & S).
- Tinkering- Projects that comprise design solutions, industry connect, entrepreneurship, innovation, 21st century skills, life skills etc.
- Coding and Technology – Works on developing computational skills through programming languages, app and web development.
- Media and Design- Mass Communication and Ethics, photography, photojournalism, scripting, blogging, radio and podcasting, anchoring and presenting, video production and vlogging, digital media, graphics and Web design, citizen journalism etc.
