Senior school curriculum has its prime focus on the academics progresses with English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies as the core subjects with students having an option to choose between Hindi, Sanskrit, French and Spanish as their second language. Students can chose between Standard Mathematics or Basic Mathematics in Grade X.
MRIS also offers Information Technology or Artificial Intelligence as a skill subject to all students in Grades IX and X. With curriculum being aligned with NEP,
School promotes inclusivity and offers subjects like Home Science, Painting, Music, Computer applications to students with special education needs. MRIS CW offers a blend of 22 subjects with English being the compulsory subject in Grades XI and XII.
The stream choice boundaries have been blurred and now student has an option to chose any 4 subjects amongst 21 subject along with English.
Subjects offered are:
- Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, Computer Science
- Commerce: Business Studies, Economics, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship
- Humanities: History, Political Science, Sociology, Legal studies, Home Science, Geography, Physical Education, Painting, Hindustani Vocal Music, Applied mathematics, Core Mathematics, French
Students can choose subjects of their choice as per their future career aspirations and dreams based on their choices, aptitudes and interests.
Collaborative studies, case based learning, project and practicals assisted learning, Industry connect, Theme based modules, group discussions, tech integrated teaching enhances the teaching learning experience at all stages at school.
