Admission
Thank you for choosing Manav Rachna International School for nurturing your child’s future. Our academic year starts in April and concludes in March, and we accept registrations throughout the year.
Manav Rachna International Schools adhere to a merit-based admissions policy, prioritizing students living near the school, accomplished athletes, children of alumni, and wards of Manav Rachna staff members.
STEP 1: Online application
- Parents must register online for admission at apply.mris.edu.in. Upon successful registration, they will receive a username and password via SMS.
- To complete the application, please login with your username and password issued via SMS and e-mail on registered phone number and email address.
- Please fill in and complete the Online Application/Registration form by paying application fees of Rs 1200 (non-refundable).
STEP 2
Once your application has been processed, you will be contacted by our admissions team and your child will be invited to the school for an assessment.
- Toddlers to KG 2 – Applicants will be invited to the school for a play based assessment to ensure that they meet our minimum requirements.
- Grade 1 and above – Applicant will be assessed on language, literacy, numeracy and science.
- After a child successfully completes an assessment, we arrange a meeting with the Head Mistress and Principal. Our approach emphasizes on understanding each applicant’s individual learning style and aspirations, fostering a student-centric education. These sessions enable our teachers to evaluate each student’s strengths, potential, and readiness for the academic challenges.
- Please note that the Admission will be considered provisional until all required documents are submitted to the school office and verified as complete and accurate.
STEP 3: Enrolment
To confirm and reserve your child’s seat, you will need to make payments for the Admission Fees (non-refundable), Refundable Security Deposit, and the Quarter Fees. Accounts office shall then allot the Student’s ID Number. This is a unique number allotted to a particular student and should be included in all communication made with the school there after.

- 6 passport size colour photographs of the child
- 2 Passport size photograph of each parent
- Address proof (photocopy of the ration card/ electricity bill/ telephone bill)
- Aadhaar Card of the child and both the parents
- Photocopy of report card of last Academic year years
- Photocopy of birth certificate
- Transfer Certificate, where applicable
- Parivar Pehchan Patra – Applicable for residents of Haryana
Age criteria and Grade placement for EYFS
From Toddles to Grade 1, grade level placement is determined by the Child’s age by 31 March of that Year.

Fee Structure
Fee Refund Policy
Parents must inform the school in writing if they intend to withdraw their child for any reason in advance.
- For new students, the Admission fees deposited will not be refunded if they choose not to accept their offered places. However, the remaining Security Deposit and Composite Fees will be refunded.
- Withdrawal during the academic year (New and Existing students) –
- Admission Fees stays non-refundable.
- For the student who has paid the full quarter fee, the fee is to be charged up to the end of the month, the student has attended classes and remaining proportionate fees for the quarter to be refunded along with the security deposit

Late fees Fine policy
If the outstanding fees amount exceeds Rs. 5,000 after the designated last date of fee payment for each quarter, the following late fee structure shall apply
- A fine of Rs.50 per day will be levied from the 16th of the month for the first seven days of default.
- Subsequently, a fine of Rs. 100 per day will be charged for each day of non-payment until the end of the month.
- From the 1st to the 14th of the following month, a fine of Rs. 200 per day will be applicable for each day of non-payment.
Late fee fines and re-admission charges will also be applicable to the staff wards.
Fine details for late payment
- Fine for the first seven days of fee default: Rs. 350/-
- Fine for the next eight or nine days of fee default: Rs. 800/- and Rs. 900/-
- Fine for the subsequent 14 days of fee default: Rs. 2800/-
- If the fee default continues thereafter, re-admission charges: Rs. 5000/-
- Total fines applicable: Rs. 8,950/- and Rs. 9,050/-
