Prize Distribution Ceremony of Inter School Sports Meet-2018-19

December 8^th, 2018 was a big day at Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana. The day marked ‘The Inter School Sports Meet Prize Distribution’ and the day began by seeking the blessings of Almighty followed by a welcome address. Dr. Roopali Trehan, Director of the school and Dr. Rupali Saini, Principal of the school presided over the function.

More than 250 students from various schools were ready to compete with each other for the finals in various sports- Shooting, Basketball, Badminton, Squash and Chess. It was a day full of enthusiasm and energy as winning was the spirit of the day for every participant under the constant support of the coaches. The wild cheering of the teammates in the stands fuelled up the atmosphere with encouragement and motivation.

On the occasion, Dr. Roopali Trehan congratulated the winning teams and encouraged all the students to take part in the games and other co-curricular activities whenever and wherever organised. Medals and certificates were presented to the winners. The Runner Up Trophy was bagged by Jesus Sacred Heart School. It was a rewarding day for the entire MRIS family as our students not only won the medals in various competitions but the Overall Winner Trophy was bagged by Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana.

The celebrations of the victory were followed by the MRIS Live Band and Punjabi Folk dance which left the whole aura of the campus reverberating with joy and happiness. The participating schools shared that their overall experience was exhilarating yet humbling. Representing an organisation comes with a potent mix of responsibility and power which leaves a lasting impression in everybody’s life.

The School Principal, Dr. Rupali Saini presented a token of gratitude to Dr. Roopali Trehan, Guest of the day and also presented appreciation letters to all the Officials and the Coaches who played a major role in making this event a success. Principal of the school congratulated the participants and the winners and said that the difference between winning and losing may be of fraction of a fraction and those who could not be the winners today should continue to strive for excellence. The Inter School Sports Meet came to an end by the declaration of the meet close by the Principal.

There goes a saying that, some people dream of success, while others wake up and work hard to achieve it. And we at Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana work towards making all our dreams a reality.
