‘An immensely delightful day dawned in the campus of Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana as Principal Dr. Rupali Saini received ‘Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Award’. Dr. Rupali has been honoured for her remarkable contribution in Nation Building, Social Welfare, Environment Protection, Education and Promotion of Indian Art, Culture, Dance and Music. It is indeed a highly appreciable achievement of a self-effacing leader like Dr. Rupali.

Dr. Rupali is a trailblazer and an innovator in true sense. When interviewed on her achievement, she expressed that she has embarked on a beautiful journey and a noble mission called Education. Further she articulated that we as educators need to understand the needs of 21st-century children. We need to depart from the age old practices that no longer have relevance in the 21st century. We must rise up and raise our standards every day. Innovation is the need of hour and we must cater to the needs of our future generations.

Eulogizing Dr. Rupali’s achievement, Director- Roopali Trehan averred, “It is highly appreciable effort and indeed, another feather has been added to the cap of MRIS Ludhiana.”

Dr. Rupali has many other achievements to her credit. To name a few, she has received the prestigious Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Outstanding Principal of the year Award 2016 by Himakahara Rashtriya Sahitya Parishad; “Best Principal Award” by Science Olympiad Foundation in the year 2013 and many more. We wish educationist Dr. Rupali to continue to enlighten the path of future generations in all times to come!
