First Special Assembly of the Session

We, at MRIS, Ludhiana truly acknowledge the fact that each child is unique and must be nurtured and encouraged to develop his/her potential. Thematic learning is an innovative approach to education which stimulates thinking and has an ever lasting impact.

Through the Special Assembly, we encourage kids to develop public speaking skills. In presentations, students exhibit the manner of lively teaching exercised in the classroom. The academic syllabus covered along with the numerous co-

curricular activities conducted in and outside the classrooms are presented in an animated way to the parents.

With respect to the first Special Assembly of the session, an enactment on the theme ‘Community Helpers’ was presented by Grade 1 students. The thematic symposium proceeded with the introduction of community helpers and their role in our lives. Children showcased their learning about different community helpers, their role and importance in our lives. Children described the value of community helpers in our community.

Assembly concluded with an invigorating dance performance, by our little stars, which was titled ‘Community helpers’, and was followed by School Song and National Anthem. Principal Ms. Anju Dhawan appreciated the outstanding confident performances of the students and complimented the mentors for their sincere efforts.
