MRIS, Ludhiana aims to create a culture of innovation and creativity to foster learning and critical thinking thereby propagating global awareness among the students further guiding them through the process of discovery. The students showcased their talents and won the hearts of their facilitators and parents through a wonderful presentation- CREST assembly. The students of Grade IV took the audience to the world of still photography by presenting the journey of a camera from Kodak roll to camera phones of today’s world. They even shared the guidelines for clicking a beautiful picture. The famous photographers like Raghu Rai, Ashok Dilwali too came alive on the stage by them. The amazing facts about motion pictures and Academy awards added to the knowledge bank of everyone.

The students of Grade V too captured the audience by sharing their knowledge about various sports like- Hockey, Basketball, Cricket, Football etc. They were dressed up in sports attire and carried the sports equipment to brief about their favourite game. The poem recital Teamwork and sportsmanship was an inspiration. The assembly culminated with breathtaking dance performances. The parents praised and applauded for the efforts made by the students. The aim of experiential learning by CREST was truly fulfilled.

Grade V earned an Appreciation Card for their spectacular performance from the Principal. Principal Ms. Anju Dhawan appreciated the arduous efforts of the mentors and the students. She emphasized on critical thinking and hands on activities for young learners. She also stated the importance of innovative and engaging curriculum for the learners of today.

The interactive session with the parents was extremely gratifying and everyone endorsed that MRIS, Ludhiana was holistically grooming their wards.
