Christmas Celebration

It is the season of joy and celebration, and MRIS Charmwood truly embraced the merry spirit of Christmas on December 21, 2023. The school organized a range of exciting activities to make this holiday season truly special for the students. The hallways and classrooms were transformed into a visual delight with beautiful Christmas decorations that included a grand Christmas tree, colourful balloons, and adorable elves that created a festive atmosphere.

The celebration kicked-off with an assembly by our early years and primary students, who showcased their talents through music, dance, and drama performances centered around Christmas themes. The students from early years, primary, and middle classes spread the joy of Christmas by singing carols in various parts of the school premises, dressed in Santa caps. Their melodious voices brought the holiday spirit to life. The early years students hopped onto a traditional tonga ride to spread the Christmas spirit beyond the school walls. The students from early years and primary indulged in creative craftwork, making beautiful wreaths, snowmen, Santa figurines, and joy sticks. Their creations were proudly displayed throughout the school, adding a touch of festive cheer wherever they were seen.

In collaboration with Red Cross India, MRIS CHARMWOOD aimed to spread the true essence of Christmas by engaging in charity. The students donated stationery items, which were given to children in need, allowing them to experience the joy of giving during this festive season. During their lunch break, students from all classes gathered for a class party, filled with a wide variety of Christmas goodies, including plum cake, popcorns, and other delectable treats. This shared experience strengthened bonds between the students and added to the festivities of the day.

Lastly, students from early years, primary, and middle grades were given the opportunity to express their Christmas wishes through a creative write-up. Their heartwarming messages were displayed on each floor, reminding everyone of the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas celebration at MRIS Charmwood was truly memorable, filled with love, joy, and kindness.
