At MRIS Ludhiana, the concept of a Clan represents a closely-knit extended family or community united by shared interests. The CLAN system is designed to foster a sense of belonging and identity within the school while encouraging vertical collaborations across grades.
This initiative provides students with opportunities to forge new friendships, explore their interests and talents, and develop leadership qualities.
The four dynamic clans at MRIS Ludhiana are inspired by elements of nature and represented by unique mascots, each embodying distinct strengths:
The CLAN system seamlessly integrates academics with co-scholastic verticals, including Sports, Literary Media, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and Sustainable Development. These verticals rotate every two months, with themed activities and intra-clan competitions, promoting healthy rivalry and holistic skill development.
Through this structure, students collaborate across grades, mentor one another, and contribute to building a vibrant school community. Above all, the CLAN system cultivates teamwork, school spirit, and a sense of pride in being part of MRIS Ludhiana.
