While the goal of Fashion Shala program is to integrate an understanding of art, craft, and design and prepare students to become creative problem solvers and critical thinkers; the subject Fashion Studies aims to provide insight into components of the process of designing, manufacturing and marketing of apparels and textiles. Understanding design fundamentals and turning an in-vogue concept into a garment not only improves the sartorial choice of students but also enhances their creativity.

Fashion, being a global business with high financial stakes demands out-of-the-box thinkers who are capable of catapulting India on to the center stage on the Global fashion map. Preparing students for this role and tapping into their immense potential is the aim of the school behind this idea.
