Comfortable furniture, flexible seating arrangement, natural light, good acoustics and interactive boards enhance learning experiences of our young learners.

Instructional strategies like active learning, differentiated instruction engage students and support diverse learning needs. Access to a variety of educational resources such as textbooks, manipulatives and digital content supports different learning styles. Labs

A person without practical knowledge is like a robot without emotions!

Working in labs enhances comprehension, boosts critical thinking, sharpens problem solving skills and promotes team work. Labs provide a much needed connection between theory and application and also liberate the young minds from the monotony of textbook learning.

With this philosophy in mind, MRIS-46 campus is equipped with highly advanced and state of the art lab facilities. The institution boasts of futuristic Core Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs which provide a sound scaffolding to promote scientific temper and attitude. Math Lab facilitates a multi-sensory approach to learning enabling a better understanding of several abstract concepts.

ICT labs across grades impart indispensable coding skills that enable students to grasp the nuances of HTML coding, Python, Libreoffice, Arcade and Artificial Intelligence just to name a few.

To sum it up, it is these labs which buzz with high voltage excitement and where hypotheses are formed and fruitful results are attained.

Library

Books are keys to wisdom’s treasure, Books are gates to lands of pleasure!

Manav Rachna International School Sector 46 has a well-equipped and well stocked library where students can find books from all genres. The students from toddlers to grade XII can access the library which has age-appropriate books for everyone. The “knowledge bank ” as we call it, has evolved incessantly over the years and incorporates the latest technology to make it user-friendly and perennially accessible to all stakeholders.

The library has a wide range of meticulously selected collections of resources like subject books, fiction, non-fiction books, journals, magazines, and reference books. The collection includes over 22,000 print books and the number is on a rapid increase. The digital library at school aims to cater to the skill set of the students and provide knowledge beyond pages to them.

The MRIS library portal has also been developed to connect students directly with the library 24X7, it includes eBooks, previous year question papers, podcasts, storytelling videos, assignments etc.

Manav Rachna School Library also fosters global mindedness by organizing and participating in International Collaborative Projects, Competitions, Global Reading Programs, International Bookmarks Exchange Program and virtual students’ meets with our partner schools around the world.

Sports

A Playground for Champions

The state-of-the-art sports department has a well-built infrastructure for several indoor and outdoor sporting activities. The school offers the best facilities in football, cricket, basketball, archery, taekwondo, table tennis, gymnastics, chess, yoga. A composite hi-tech indoor shooting range offers optimal training in the whole region and a semi-Olympic size swimming pool is dedicated to all age levels of expertise.

Under the able guidance and training of professional trainers and coaches, the school has reached the zenith of international sports standards. Committed to excellence and fostering a competitive spirit, the school has been hosting innumerable inter school sports tournaments and inter clan competitions.

Media Shala

In today’s rapidly evolving world, the professional landscape is continually shifting, driven by advancements in technology, global connectivity, and changing societal needs.

This forward-thinking approach involves not only identifying emerging fields and skills but also committing to continuous learning and adaptation. In the endeavor to achieve this, Future Skills and Sustainability (FS&S) vertical under Manav Rachna has introduced Media Shala to its students.

Led by a team of industry experts, students are trained in communication and production activities to be future journalists and media professionals. From anchoring to podcast production, to learning branding and marketing – students at Media Shala gain confidence for facing the audience from a young age.

Media Shala members have produced and edited short films, covered events and clicked breathtaking photos. Many students have found love for writing blogs, professional vlogging or comic-making and social media management while being part of the course.

The curriculum is delivered by industry experts from the field of media and communications.

Maker Shala

Taking the love for science and robotics to the next level, the Tinker Shala (for classes 1 to 5) and Maker Shala (for classes 6 to 12) fosters next-generation skills in future coders and programmers of tomorrow. The scope of Tinker Shala and Maker Shala expands to solving industry problems of today and tomorrow, like agri-tech, sustainability and design thinking.

In Tinker Shala for grades 1 to 5, foundations for scientific approach to problem solving, 21st century skills, life skills, self-awareness and values, scientific temper, and thinking skills are nurtured and built.

The Maker Shala project threads are AgriTech, Health Tech and Food, Product Design (Infra tech) and Robotics and AI. The course is led by STEM educators and experts with qualifications in B.Tech Engineering in electronics, civil engineering and the likes.

Auditorium

Fondly named as ‘Manch’, our school’s open air theatre plays a pivotal role in our learners’ educational voyage by being the hub of myriad notable events. Ranging from our annual cultural extravaganza, Kalasayojan, to the vibrant festivity of Funbrella and Zimmriya, and the thought-provoking debates at VidMUN, Manch embodies the essence of holistic development and social ethos. Our precious ones assemble here for illuminating assemblies, where ideas are interchanged and talents are exhibited, weaving a vibrant tapestry of growth and synergy.

At MRIS-46, we believe that engagement soars when students are immersed in nature gaining meaningful real-life insights. Nature walks, gardening, outdoor science experiments, listening walks, nature based art activities are regularly incorporated in the lesson plans.

What is a school without a playground?

At MRIS-46, we have a dedicated play zone that is always buzzing with excitement, cheer and laughter. It is a versatile learning space that supports holistic development in children. Equipped with features like spiral slides, straight and tube slides, monkey bars, duck spring riders, and dinosaur spring riders, it transports children to their dream world of childhood.

Encouraging children to spend time in the play zone significantly enhances their developmental journey, making learning an enjoyable and integral part of their everyday lives. Performing Arts

Captivates the mind, enriches the soul.

Aimed at providing a platform to our young performers, our performing arts department brings joy and creativity to education. When Rabindranath Tagore said that the ultimate aim of education should be the all-round development of the individual for a harmonious adjustment to reality, little did we know that the concept will be the guiding principle of new age education systems.

The synthesis of dance, music and theatre with education provides an enriching experience and gives a vent to students’ emotions. Performing arts bring harmony and collaboration in school and make it a happy place.

At MRIS, we believe that aesthetic and inclusive development is as important as intellectual development and what better way to achieve it than a plethora of activities where the students get to express their joys and fears through the medium of dance and music, both Indian and Western. Visual Art

The Visual Arts curriculum at MRIS Sector 46 has been nurturing artistic expressions in our 21st century learners through their global curriculum. Students get an opportunity to unleash their creativity through different forms and mediums of paintings. The uniqueness of each medium, be it sculpture, clay work, textiles, instills in them a sense of fulfillment and emotional intelligence.

The art integration curriculum familiarizes them with an array of art forms worldwide and encourages cultural preservation. Our young learners practice sustainability while up scaling used articles into pieces of art.

Our highly skilled team of facilitators teach them cartooning, book illustration, commercial art, textile prints and impressions, giving them a peek into the professional world. Workshops and interactions with prominent artists from around the world are often organized. Not to miss the appreciation and accolades our young artists have received at various local and national platforms.
