Anti-Cracker Rally

Manav Rachna International School (MRIS), Noida organized an anti-cracker rally in the school premises recently to sensitize the students about the hazardous effects of crackers. The rally was flagged off by the Principal Ms. Nindiya Saket to advocate the message ‘Let’s Celebrate a GreenDiwali’. She apprised the students of the need of creating a clean and pollution-free environment.

Students carrying inspiring and vibrant placards with slogans, urged everyone to celebrate a joyous and sparkling Diwali with colourful candles and eco-friendly decoratives. To spread the noble cause of Green Diwali the students pledged to ‘Say No to Crackers’. The adverse impact to health and environment were brought to the forefront by the students with a request to all citizens to celebrate this Diwali without crackers. All the students participated in the rally with a lot of zest and enthusiasm. The rally gave the students a platform where they presented their views and brought awareness regarding various environmental issues.
