‘Sportek 2018’- the annual sports meet for Primary students

MRIS-21C Faridabad organized ‘Sportek 2018’- the annual sports meet for Primary students today. Ms Mary Masih, District Sports Officer, Faridabad who was the Chief Guest for the day, declared the meet open. Ms. Nisha Bhalla, ED, MRIS-21C and MRIS Charmwood encouraged the students to participate in sports for a healthy life.

The track event included many interesting races like Flat Race Athletes in making, throw ball, Basketball, Lemon and Spoon Race for the students. The sports ground came alive as the students and parents cheered for their friends and children respectively. The winners of the races were awarded with medals and certificates.

Students were dressed in their colorful tracksuits and performed various cultural activities and drills putting up a great show. The graceful and synchronized movements of the children in the various drills and sprint events were a reflection of a wonderful blend of spontaneity, exuberance and sense of discipline instilled by the school. It was indeed a spectacular show and a treat to the eyes.

Ms. Seema Malhotra, Principal reiterated, “When we, adults feel doubt and uncertainty, let us follow the sunlit paths of our children. Their sunny disposition, faith and determination will always give us absolution, enabling us to achieve our top potential.” She also spoke about the school’s focus on the overall development of students – whether it is academics, sports or cultural activities.
