Technology in MRIS IB plays a significant role in supporting the program’s emphasis on inquiry-based learning and global awareness. We have integrated cutting-edge technology to enhance teaching and learning, providing students with tools to explore, research, and collaborate effectively.

Classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, digital projectors, and tablets or laptops for each student. These tools facilitate dynamic lessons and enable students to engage with multimedia resources and online databases. Advanced software and applications support various subjects, from simulations in science to creative projects in the arts.

Moreover, at MRIS IB we use Toddle as our Learning Management Systems (LMS) to streamline communication between teachers, students, and parents, offering a platform for assignment submission, feedback, and grades.

Technology also supports global collaboration, allowing students to connect with peers from around the world, fostering an international perspective and enhancing the global mindset central to the IB philosophy.

We are committed to integrating Apple technology and apps across our curriculum. The aim is to empower students with the latest tools and resources equipping them with the right skills to thrive in a digitally driven world.

The Arts

At MRIS IB, we integrate Arts across PYP as a Transdisciplinary curriculum and emphasize on its role as a portfolio subject in MYP. Art is at the heart of everything we do fostering creativity, critical thinking and self-expression. Beyond being a subject, it plays an important role in enhancing social emotional wellbeing. Students actively engage in using technology and apps like Garage Band to compose and explore music enhancing their technological proficiency. Arts overall leads to holistic development of students.

Field Trips

MRIS IB are integral to the program’s emphasis on experiential learning and real-world connections. These excursions are designed to complement the curriculum by providing students with practical, hands-on experiences that deepen their understanding of academic concepts and global issues.

Our field trips often align with the core components of the IB framework, such as the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course, the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) component, and the extended essay.

These outings also provide opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, allowing students to make connections between different subjects.

Student Leadership

At MRIS IB, we focus on nurturing student leadership by giving them voice, choice and ownership while inculcating the qualities of a good leader through various workshops and group and individual tasks. The Student Council, created by the students, of the students and for the students nurtures a sense of ownership and responsibility and encourages active participation. The experience helps students understand their roles and responsibilities, helping them become confident leaders who contribute positively to the school community.

The international standard infrastructure, qualified teachers, and coaches are the pillars for delivering physical health education, ensuring comprehensive support for students’ development in fitness, skills, and competitions both for individual and team sports. The overall program is so well designed in terms of delivering the curriculum for teaching and learning and at the same time students get to showcase their prowess during the sports clubs for the sports of their interest. Events & Competitions

At MRISl IB, we host a variety of events and competitions while engaging and involving the entire learning community.

Our community events, parental engagements, celebrations create a vibrant school culture, while the inter-school events including Model United Nations, IB Conferences encourage students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills and a broader platform.
