Scholarship Policy – MRIS IB
MRIS IB strives to build and nurture a community of global minded and compassionate future leaders,
Who are committed to living with responsibility and be lifelong learners. MRIS has always taken a keen interest in the well-being of children and supported them on various fronts. The MRIS IB Scholarship Programme aims to award scholarships to exceptional, highly motivated and deserving students in various areas such as Academics, Sports and The Arts. Such students must show great potential to further excel in their chosen disciplines thereby bringing laurels to their parents and the school.
A few important points to note here are:
- Scholarship offerings to students shall be strictly based on their Merit cum Need.
- Scholarships are available to new students entering DP 1 (Grade 11) and shall be awarded for a two-year academic period. All Scholarships granted are reviewed annually and are based on the continued performance of the awardee.
- The Amount of Scholarship is decided by the management on a case to case basis and keeping in mind the merit for each request received.
Academics
To be eligible to apply, students applying to a particular grade must meet the following ‘Minimum Eligibility Criterion’ in the preceding grade:

IGCSE | Minimum 4 A*and not more than two C | Upto INR 50000/- per Quarter |
Any Other Curriculum | Equivalent to the grading system above for which Manav Rachna will be creating the cut offs | As agreed upon by the management on case to case basis |
Sports
For students who have consistently shown outstanding merit and achievement at national and international level sporting events & tournaments. The scholarship percentage or amount will be subject to the decision of the scholarship panel, and in view of the evidence submitted.
The Arts
For outstanding and gifted students in the field of ‘The Arts’ who have consistently produced an exceptional quality of work and shown outstanding merit and achievement at national and international level events. The scholarship percentage or amount will be subject to the decision of the scholarship panel, and in view of the evidence submitted.

Scholarship Conditions
Through a first of its kind media curriculum in schools we prepare future ready youth to become:

Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain satisfactory academic progress and adhere to the code of conduct of MRIS IB.

Continued eligibility for the scholarship may be contingent upon maintaining a certain Credit Score, participating in extracurricular activities, or meeting other requirements specified in the scholarship offer.

Scholarship awards are subject to the availability of funds and may be renewable for subsequent years based on continued eligibility and funding availability.

The criterion mentioned above merely defines the “eligibility” for applying for a scholarship. Scholarships are limited in number and the decision of awarding the same will be based on a series of processes in addition to some other assessment criteria. Scholarships can never be assumed as a right.
