Early years

The early years are an important stage for brain development. During this period, the brain is most open to the influence of experiences and relationships because children undergo rapid growth in all domains: physical, cognitive, social and emotional. The quality of these experiences and relationships directly affects the structure of the developing brain. For this reason, it is paramount that the Primary Years Programme (PYP) community values early learning as a crucial stage of development in its own right.

*Manav Rachna International School (MRIS) is a Candidate School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). This school is pursuing authorization as an World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that MRIS believes is important for our students. Only schools authorized by the Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
