Special Assembly on World Athletics Day

“There are better starters than me but I am a strong finisher… This should be the spirit.” MRIS, Ludhiana grabbed the opportunity of World Athletics Day to acquaint the students with the importance of the day. A Special Assembly was organised on this occasion. Through the virtual platform, the students came to know about the History, Key Facts and Timeline of Athletics and also about the history of Indian Olympics. Motivational videos were also shared during the assembly to encourage and inspire the youngsters to adopt a healthy lifestyle. This special day provides an opportunity to recognize the role that sports and physical activity plays in community and in people’s lives across the world. Fitness and Well- being form an integral part of the curriculum we follow at Manav Rachna International School, to help them grow as fit individuals, who serve as an asset to the country and the world.
