MANAV RACHNA SCHOLARSHIP TEST FAQs

Q1. When will the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test held?
The Manav Rachna Scholarship Test is scheduled for 15th January 2022.

Q2. Is the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test available only for MRIS students?
No. The Scholarship Test is open to MRIS and as well as Non-MRIS students. Grade IX going to Grade X Test is available only for MRIS students and Outstation Students who plan to shift city in the forthcoming session.

Q3. Students of which classes can appear for the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test?
Students of Grade V (2021-22)going to VI(2022-23), VI going to VII, Grade VII going to VIII, Grade VIII going to IX, Grade IX going to X and Grade X going to XI can appear for the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test.

(Grade IX going to Grade X Test is available only for MRIS students and Outstation Students who plan to shift city in the forthcoming session.)

Q4. What all subjects will be tested?

Manav Rachna Scholarship Test will assess students for English, Math, Science and Logical Reasoning.

Q5. How can I register for the Scholarship Test?

The Manav Rachna Scholarship Test form is available at the school website- www.mris.edu.in You can also visit the school branch and seek help in filling the form.

Q6. Is there some registration fee involved?

Yes. A nominal fee of Rs. 100 only will be charged at the time of registration from all students who wish to appear for the test.

Q7. Do we have the option to choose the mode of the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test?

No. The Manav Rachna Scholarship Test will be conducted in a physical setting only. Students wanting to appear for the Scholarship Test need to come to the Test Centre. No online exam available.

Q8. What is the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test syllabus?

Students appearing for the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test will be tested on the core concepts of the current grade’s annual syllabus along with logical reasoning.

Q9. What is the maximum marks of the test?

The Scholarship Test will be of 100 marks.

Q10. What will be the duration of the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test?

The time duration of the Scholarship Test is 3 hrs + 15 minutes (Reading Time). The test will be conducted from 9:00am-12:15pm.

Students are expected to reach the centre latest by 8:45am.

Q11. When will the Manav Rachna Scholarship Test Results be declared?

The Manav Rachna Scholarship Test Results will be declared by the last week of January.

Q12. What all do I need to carry to the Test Centre?

On the day of the test, the student will be required to carry and keep in mind the following-

  • ID Card of the school
  • Admit Card/Letter of Communication received from MRIS
  • Mobile phone for Aarogya Setu verification
  • Required stationery, water bottle, hand sanitizer and mask
  • Please reach the school chosen at the given time to avoid
  • In case of fever or any symptoms of cough & cold, please do not

Q13. I live in Noida, but since my school is currently online, I have come to my grandparent’s home in Gurgaon. Can I choose the Gurgaon Branch as the Test Centre and yet apply for the Noida branch?

Yes. Your school of preference and centre of test can be different. The test will be conducted across all MR Schools on the same date and the same time. The Scholarship Test form has desired fields mentioned. Please fill the form appropriately.

Q14. How much of Scholarship will I get if I clear the test and meet the scholarship criteria?

If a student clears the Scholarship Test and meets all criteria, he/she is eligible for 100% scholarship. 100 such students will be getting this freeship.

Q15. Is there anything else involved after clearing the test?

All shortlisted scholars who clear the Scholarship Test will have an interview round with the school principal. They will also be required to submit the school’s Term I result.

Q16. Will this scholarship be continued till the time I am with Manav Rachna?

No. This scholarship is merit based and valid for one academic session only. If the scholar continues to do well academically, has an aggregate of 95%, has been regularly participating and performing well in benchmark tests like the Olympiads, the scholarship will roll over to the next academic session as well. However if the scholar does not meet the above criteria, he/she can re-appear for the Scholarship Test next session.

Q17. Can I reappear for the scholarship test next year in case I don’t get the scholarship this year?

Yes. You can reappear next year in case you don’t get the scholarship this year.

Q18. Since students of Grade X going to Grade XI will appear for the Scholarship Test before the declaration of the central/state board result, would the scholarship be applicable post board result?

The scholarship provided to students of Grade X going to XI will be provisional and subject to confirmation post the central/state board result.
