Ms. Kanika Nikhanj
Academic Coordinator (Early Years & Grade 1)
Ms. Kanika Nikhanj has been associated with MRIS since the inception of MRIS Mohali in 2017. With a decade long experience in the educational field, she possesses a deep knowledge of and commitment towards progressive education. She’s been training teachers and developing academic content along with setting curriculum priorities for Early Years.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Radiology and later pursued NTT to follow her true calling: educating young minds. She started her career in teaching with St. Stephen’s Preparatory, Chandigarh and was associated with them for 7 years. She is currently pursuing the Master’s in School Leadership & Management and is an active volunteer for children’s workshops at TS Central State Library, Chandigarh. An avid reader, blogger and traveler, she’s been nominated as the ‘Innovative Teacher of the Year’ by AKS Global Education Awards.
