To pay honour to our teachers for their priceless job, Teacher’s Day is celebrated on the 5th of September every year. Students at MRIS Mohali paid their tribute to the tireless efforts of their teachers through their extraordinary performances. The little ones posed as different Teachers and enacted their roles ecstatically. Everyone was watching them copy their mentors. They organized interesting games which teachers enjoyed the most. Teachers were pleasantly surprised and mesmerized by the performances presented by the students. Ms. Taruna Vashisht, Principal MRIS Mohali, applauded the efforts of the children and added that a teacher is not a candle which burns itself to enlighten students but consumes herself to enlighten them. She emphasized that a teacher is a lifelong learner who learns from the learners.
