On Moon Day 2020, students at MRIS Mohali watched videos of the actual footage of the historic landing on the moon that occurred on the 20th of July in 1969. They were made aware of the monumental effort that it takes in order to get a space program off the ground. Inculcating ‘Peer Learning’, informative videos were made by the students themselves where they talked about the Apollo 11 and the astronauts onboard the mission. Such enlightening activities go a long way to ensure the holistic development of students while making them aware of the important landmarks in the history of mankind.
