Ms. Monika Mukh (Librarian) of Manav Rachna International School, Mohali won three awards in the following categories: ‘Best Paper Presentation’, ‘Quiz Winner’ & ‘Rapporteur’ in the 6th National Conference of Chandigarh Librarians’ Association on “Information Technology & Knowledge Society: Role of Libraries’ recently. The main objective of the conference was to bring together library professionals and researchers from India and abroad to exchange their innovative ideas, new initiatives, experiences, research work and best practices.

Ms. Mukh also wrote a paper on “Information e-Resources for Generation Alpha: MRIS library as an Information Resource Centre” and it was selected and published in the Proceedings of CLA volume.

During her Paper Presentation, she presented the best library practices of MRIS library, which included language differentiated activities, solving riddles on daily basis, making book reviews and book tasting. These innovative library practices were lauded by all the dignitaries and participants present in the conference.
