It was a day imbued with a sense of pride, humility and leadership at MRIS Mohali during the Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2019-2020. The ceremony commenced with the school prayer and school song, followed by investing responsibility, authority and leadership to the newly appointed cabinet members of the school. Principal MRIS Mohali, Ms. Taruna Vashisht honoured the cabinet members including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain (Girl & Boy), Clan Chiefs, Vice-Clan Chiefs, Secretaries, and Catalysts with badges. Teachers who have been chosen as the Clan Mentors and Associate Clan Mentors were also announced formally.

The Principal congratulated the students and urged them to take up the responsibility with commitment and integrity. She said “Education means preparation for life and this preparation includes training them to be prospective leaders. The investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested responsibility bearers”. She also reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers. The ceremony concluded with the oath taking and National Anthem.
