As a part of the ongoing theme ‘All About Me’, the kindergarteners of MRIS, Mohali were taught about the means of communication and how people around them use those means. They were also informed about the yesteryear modes of communication. To reinforce this concept, the students were taken out for an Edutrip to the local Post Office in Chandigarh. The cooperative Postal Staff briefed the children about the postal services and how a letter travels before it reaches its final destination. Our scholars were also up-skilled about the various post boxes (Green, Red etc). The children were encouraged to write postcards addressed to their parents which they later posted on the spot. The Parents are now eagerly waiting to receive their very first postcards sent by their little ones!
