‘Aubergine Day’ celebrated at Early Years

The Early Years wing at Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, was quite a treat to the eyes as the little ones celebrated the ‘Aubergine Day’ with great pomp and show. The children were taught about the importance of Aubergine (Brinjal) and its splendid colour during the Circle Time routine daily. Thus, they came either clad in aubergine outfits or carried hand-made props in the same hue to showcase their learning outcomes.

A few of them also sang rhymes signifying the benefits of eating an aubergine and candidly posed with their lovely props. An ‘Aubergine Treasure Hunt’ was also organized for the little ones where they were thrilled to search the hidden aubergine hued objects on campus.

It was definitely a fun-filled day where the efforts made by the parents to dress up their little ones or prepare props with them were quite evident and appreciated by the school staff.
